Patrick M. Ryan

Supporting Private & Public sector groups as investment manager, strategist, and trusted advisor

Patrick has always had a passion for getting his hands dirty in order to make business and society work better.

From shining shoes during summer vacation as a 10 year-old at the train station near his home in Darien, CT, to building housing in rural Appalachia and volunteering as an on-call EMT as a teenager, to leading the debate team and doing policy research in DC during college, to building fund of funds portfolios and restructuring organizations’ finances and operations during his 15 year career, Patrick works to make businesses and society higher performing and more sustainable.

He has worked with and or received offers of employment at corporations like Goldman Sachs, Pfizer, IBM, Harvard, Tudor Investment Corp, and Yale as well as start-ups and smaller groups all with one thing in common – ensuring enduring success.

Through a strategically crafted educational background, with an eye to gaining expertise and creating value across sectors, Patrick received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Political Science (concentrating on law, policy and economics), completed a Master of Arts with Honors in Education from New York University (graduating in top 1% of his class), and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School (concentrating on Finance/Alternative Investments, Strategy, and Management with a geographic focus on East Asia).

Patrick serves on a number of boards and continues to donate his time and passion to interests that create a positive effect on the trajectory, revenue, brand/identity, product, service, or leadership of an organization.

An avid hiker, runner, and cyclist Patrick is based in the NYC area where he lives with his wonderful wife, Eliza.
